One killed, three injured in Kinnelon accident

Traffic was detoured to allow two medevac helicopters to land, causing delays of up to 35 minutes on Route 287,  according to the  state Department of Transportation.

State Police ID man killed in Route 287 van crash Thursday

Felipe Guasco-Loja, 32, was riding in the back of a white 2014 Chevy van Thursday with Abelino Guasco, 27, of Newark at about 3 p.m. when the van overturned near mile-marker 50.6 on Route 287 South, State Police spokesman Sgt. Jeff Flynn said. There were no seat belts in the cargo area, Flynn said.
One man has died and three are injured after their Chevrolet van rolled on Route 287 in Kinnelon Burrough in Morris County, New Jersey. The accident occured around 3:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon, October 16, 2014 when the white van rolled into the right lane near exit 52. The driver died at the scene. The woman was taken to Morristown Memorial Hospital by ambulance, one man was flown to Morristown, and the other man was taken to another hospital.
