The collision was reported at 7:08 a.m. on the northbound side of the highway near the Goodkind Bridge in New Brunswick. On the scene, officers determined that a car was traveling south on Route 1 when it lost control, veered into the opposing lane and struck the pickup truck head-on, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
