A 13-year-old boy was killed Sunday night in a 2-vehicle crash at an intersection in Newark, according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. The teen, whose name has not been released, was a passenger in a vehicle that collided with another vehicle between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. in the intersection of Clifton and Montclair avenues, according to Thomas S. Fennelly, chief assistant prosecutor.
