Aurora Marcos Travis was walking in a marked crossing on the corner of Madison and Elm streets at about 11 a.m. when she was hit, Newton police said. The driver, a 25-year-old Newton man, told police he didn’t see Travis and was issued a summons for failure to yield to a pedestrian.
