Driver Resuscitated After Crashing Into Car Full of Doctors, Cops Say

If you’re going to crash your vehicle after suffering a medical emergency, it may as well be into a car carrying two doctors. That’s what happened to a New Providence man on Sunday afternoon near Rt. 46 in Parsippany, police said.

As soon as the Parikhs saw that the man who hit them was unresponsive, they began CPR and called 911. The man eventually became responsive in a Parsippany Volunteer Ambulance Squad Rig and was transported to Saint Clare's Hospital. Dhinoj Parikh believes the man had gone into cardiac arrest before he crashed. “I think it’s good to hit doctor’s car,” Parikh said. “I am happy we were there at that moment to help him through. If you can help somebody you should.”
