Two individuals were transported to the hospital after a boat crashed into Barber's Basin on Sunday at 1 a.m. Two of the six people on board the 26-foot boat fell into the Salem River and sustained head, shoulder, and leg injuries. The two injured were sent to The Memorial Hospital of Salem County and Christiana Hospital in Newark, Del. The boat accident took place about a quarter of a mile from the Penn Salem Bridge.
