Britzi Flores, 22, killed, Jessenia Morales, 23, Jose Flores, driver Kenneth Fonseca, 23, who was arrested, seriously injured, transported to hospital, after their car struck a guardrail on the Garden State Parkway near Brick Township, and overturned.

A 22-year-old woman traveling in a gray Scion with three other people died this morning after the car crashed on the Garden State Parkway in Brick Township, New Jersey State Police said. The driver of the vehicle faces multiple charges, including driving while intoxicated, driving while his license was suspended, and causing death while driving with a suspended license, a State Police spokesman Trooper said. Kenneth Fonseca, a 23-year-old Toms River resident, was driving the car southbound when the vehicle veered left off the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned down an embankment, police said. The accident occurred around 4:18 a.m. at mile marker 93.4. Britzi Flores, 22 of Toms River, was pronounced dead at 6 a.m. at the scene of the accident, Flynn said. Jose Flores and Jessenia Morales, 23, both of Lakewood, were also traveling in the vehicle at time of the accident but suffered non-life threatening injuries, police said. The driver and two passengers were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, police said. The driver is now being held at the Ocean County Correctional Facility on $50,000 bail, police said. Additional criminal charges are pending, police said.
