A South Amboy man faces charges in a hit-and-run crash Saturday morning that killed a pedestrian in Ocean County, authorities said. Mark Carey Jr., 19, was allegedly driving a 1999 Ford Explorer that struck a woman on Route 35 South in Brick, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Brick Township Police Chief David Forrester.
