Police: 10-year-old dead after possible street racing crash

A witness told police that a white car was driving up to 85-110 MPH and was weaving through traffic. Police were also told that the driver was racing what is believed to be a blue Mustang.

Carmen’s family is now searching for funds to help pay for 10-year-old’s funeral. On their GoFundMe page, family members describe her as a happy little girl full of life. They say it was Friday night when she was driving home with her family when the fatal crash happened.

Man sentenced to 6 years for crash that killed girl

The State Attorney General’s Office wants Nelson to get six years for the crime.

The sentencing is set for 3 p.m. Tuesday.
