APD says a passenger in the other vehicle was killed in the crash.

Groves faces charges of homicide (felony murder), unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, tampering with evidence, aggravated fleeing an officer, and two counts of aggravated battery with great bodily harm, according to the statement.
Police are searching for Paul Garcia, 24, who is wanted for murder and other felony charges in connection with the Copper and Chelwood fatal crash. A reward is available for information leading to his arrest.
Immediate family and UNM Hospital have confirmed Shaylee’s mom, Shuanna Arredondo-Boling, died Tuesday afternoon. Meanwhile, one of the suspects is still on the run.
The U.S. Marshals Service is offering an up to $2,000.00 reward for information leading to Garcia's arrest.
If you receive any information regarding Garcia, please contact the United States Marshals Service at (505)346-6400 (Albuquerque) or (575) 527-6850 (Las Cruces).
Just a month before that, Groves was caught driving a stolen car while breaking into mailboxes in Placitas. Sheriff’s deputies say she tried to run over a deputy when he tried to arrest her.
After more than two weeks on the run police have nabbed the man accused of being in the stolen van when it crashed into a family, killing 14-year-old Shaylee Boling and her mother.
Police say fingerprints show Groves was the driver of that car, but now the case has been dropped. According to court documents, there was not enough evidence.
