New Mexico State Police are investigating an ambulance rollover on U.S. Highway 70 in Chaves County.

Around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, State Police officers were asking to avoid the area, saying the scene is “active.” A key route between Roswell and Clovis, U.S. 70 remains open to westbound traffic.

State police say there were two EMTs and two other people onboard the ambulance at the time of the crash. All four were transported to the hospital with injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
