Chief Eric Garcia says they will work with the district attorney's office to ensure charges are brought against the people or establishment that provided alcohol to them.
Martinez was driving at a high speed south on SR 599 shortly before 11:00pm when he departed the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll. Martinez and an 18-year-old female passenger have already been treated and released, while another 20-year-old male passenger remains in critical condition at the hospital. After being treated, Martinez was booked into jail and had admitted drinking alcohol before driving. We will update this accident as more information is released.
