On Thursday morning, Cronin lost control of his vehicle driving along a curve on Wood Road as he drove to school about 7:45 a.m.. The car went off the road and flipped and he was brought to Samaritan Hospital in Troy.

CLIFTON PARK -- An 18-year-old Shenendehowa student was killed Thursday morning in a one-car crash on Wood Road.
High school senior Hunter Cronin died on his way to school, according to the school district.
Cronin was killed about 7:45 a.m., State Police in Clifton Park said.
State Police have not identified the driver of the car but said the driver was alone in the vehicle when he lost control on a curve. The vehicle went off the side of the road and flipped. Troopers said speeding might have been a factor in the crash.
Cronin was pronounced dead at Samaritan Hospital later Thursday morning.
