The crash occurred at about 2:20 p.m. on Consul Road and Waterman Avenue. Town police said a Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake bus drove into the intersection, into the path of a South Colonie bus.

Police described the accident as "very minor" later on, so there is hope that any injuries sustained by students are minor or at least non-life threatening.
