Teen injured by car in Queensbury

A teenager was hurt in a car-pedestrian accident on Cronin Road on Thursday afternoon, and police believe a driver involved in the accident fled the crash scene.

A 16-year-old was hurt in a car-pedestrian accident at around 3:45 p.m. on Cronin Road, between Meadowbrook and Bay roads. The driver of the car fled the scene. Police were looking for a light-colored sport utility vehicle, possibly a Subaru, that was believed to have damage to a passenger side turn signal or headlight and to the passenger side. The teen was taken to Glen Falls Hospital with injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
