On April 8, 2015 at 1432 hours, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office received numerous 911 calls reporting that a car had struck a tractor trailer on Saunders Settlement Road.

Route 31/Saunders Settlement Road was closed between Comstock and Diller roads Monday because of a crash that happened at about 2:45 p.m. Initial reports indicate that a car was struck by a tractor trailer, killing the car driver. The semi driver was brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.
