Ten persons were injured Thursday, four of them seriously, in a collision involving an NFTA Metro Bus, an SUV and a small car that was crushed, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.

A 14-year-old girl was taken to Women and Children’s Hospital in Buffalo for treatment of her injuries, and three other people were being treated at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo and at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston. Six other persons were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The crash took place during icy conditions about 9:30 p.m. in front of Niagara Falls International Airport at Niagara Falls Boulevard and Williams Road.
