32-year-old electric scooter operator was seriously injured after colliding with a vehicle on Route 9D in Fishkill, New York

Town Police said the preliminary investigation and witness statements reported that a northbound vehicle in the left lane of the bridge approach, driven by a 42-year-old Beacon woman, collided with a man operating the scooter southbound in the northbound lane as he attempted to cross both lanes.
