At least 30 people, and possibly as many as 40, were injured after a bus crashed in the Lincoln Tunnel in New York on Wednesday morning.

David Gomez, who rides that NJ Transit bus every day, told NBC 4 New York he was in the middle of the bus when he saw the accident about to happen and braced himself. He said most people on the bus weren't prepared for the impact, and several people were bleeding.

A bus rear-ended another this morning in New York City's Lincoln Tunnel -- causing bumper-to-bumper traffic and sending one pregnant woman stuck inside into labor, authorities said.
A New Jersey public transit bus carrying 60 people was traveling in the Lincoln Tunnel when it rear-ended another bus, carrying 26 people. The crash occured in the center tube of the tunnel, causing the center tube to be closed for two hours.
