Yonkers man killed in fiery car crash on parkway in Queens

Tulloch was in a 2010 Toyota Highlander with two other passengers, a 26-year-old man and 25-year-old woman, police said. The vehicle was traveling eastbound on the Grand Central Parkway near Exit 4 at the Brooklyn Queens Expressway when it hit a piece of metal in the road, police said. The metal apparently caused an explosion and burned the SUV.
A 50-year-old Yonkers man was killed in a fiery automobile crash on the Grand Central Parkway, New York City police said Wednesday. Police identified the man killed as Dale Tulloch of Yonkers. Tulloch was a passenger in the back seat of a sports utility vehicle when it erupted into flames, police said. Tulloch was in a 2010 Toyota Highlander with two other passengers, a 26-year-old man and 25-year-old woman, police said. The vehicle was traveling eastbound on the Grand Central Parkway near Exit 4 at the Brooklyn Queens Expressway when it hit a piece of metal in the road, police said. The metal apparently caused an explosion and burned the SUV. The younger man and woman escaped from the burning SUV but Tulloch was later found dead in the back seat by the NYPD.
