24-year-old pedestrian struck and critically injured by a bus at Eliot Avenue and Fresh Pond in Queens, New York

The incident happened around 5:19 a.m. when the bus driver of a Q39 bus struck a 24-year-old woman, authorities said. The victim was crossing the street while the bus driver was making a right turn on Eliot Ave. at Fresh Pond, officials said.
