HUSBAND AND WIFE KILLED IN LONG ISLAND CRASH BY ALLEGED DRUNK DRIVER

The driver of the second car, identified as Kyle Glinka, survived and is being charged with DUI while being treated for injuries at the hospital.

Police identified the married victims as 67-year-old William Kear and his 66-year-old wife Joanne.

Glinka, of Bohemia, was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. He was arrested and charged with a DUI.

 It is possible that additional charges will be forthcoming after prosecutors further review the case and results of a blood alcohol test. Newsday reported that the man had no previous criminal record.
