Good Samaritan Saves 2 After Car Crashes, Bursts Into Flames

A Good Samaritan pulled a driver and passenger from a car after it crashed and burst into flames Friday in Yonkers, authorities say. Police say the car was traveling north on the Saw Miller River Parkway shortly before 1:30 a.m. when it went off the road near Tuckahoe Road and apparently hit a tree. Video from the scene showed the vehicle completely engulfed in roaring flames. Both the driver and the passenger were taken to the hospital.
