Marie Perez, 41, dies, one adult and two children injured in two-vehicle collision on Route 89 in Seneca County, New York
41-year-old dead after Saturday car accident in Seneca County
Marie Perez of Romulus was headed northbound around noon on Route 89 when she lost control rounding a curve and had her Ford Focus skid into the path of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. According to the Seneca County Sheriff's Office, the Focus was left "demolished", while the pickup truck also sustained heavy damage. Perez was declared dead at the scene.
Perez's two young children survived the crash but were transported to the hospital, as were the driver and passenger of the pickup truck.
