Izzo was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment as well as multiple vehicle and traffic violations. He is set to appear in Cicero Town Court on Tuesday.

Both the car containing the Melfi family and Izzo's car were traveling eastbound, with Izzo quickly approaching from behind at a high-speed. As Izzo attempted to pass the Melfi's, he ended up striking their car and causing both vehicles to overturn. All victims were taken to the hospital, though all injuries were reported to minor.
