Man killed, woman injured in auto crash in Sterling, police say

Deputies responded to the scene along with state police, state park police, the Fair Haven Fire Department, the Red Creek Fire Department, Fair Haven Ambulance and Menter Ambulance.
A man died Friday and two people sustained injuries in a two-car collision at about 9:51 a.m. on State Route 104 near Coleman Road in the town of Sterling. Wilner Moleon, 52, of Red Creek, was driving east in a Ford Taurus when he lost control and drove into the path of a westbound Subaru Outback driven by 83-year-old Jane Holliday, of Oswego. Moleon was transported to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse where he died of his injuries. Holliday and a passenger were transported to Oswego Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
