Selmon drove onto South Salina Street, crossed the center line and struck the school bus carrying several children, police said. Selmon then ran a couple blocks. Harvey said he was told officers found Selmon hiding inside a house nearby.
Acoy was transported to Upstate University Hospital for minor back injury. Though the bus was full of children, only one 11-year-old boy was taken to Upstate Hospital for complaints of back pain. Selmon was charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony, and third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, second-degree reckless endangerment and leaving the scene of a personal injury incident.
