The westbound lane of West Genesee Street was closed to traffic while Syracuse police investigated and glass and other debris were cleared from the road. Officers directed traffic onto North Franklin Street.
Around 7:45 a.m. on October 6, 2014, a dark gray Toyota Corolla crashed into a school bus at the intersection of West Genesee and North Franklin in Syracuse, New York. Police closed the intersection to investigate. No serious injuries were reported, though students were examined for injuries. Students were transferred to another bus around 8:30 a.m.
