Motorcyclist killed in Salisbury crash now identified

The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on E. Innes Street near Avalon Drive. Police say Lyerly was driving on E. Innes Street and turned left onto Avalon Drive into the path of the motorcycle. A motorcyclist was killed Thursday in a vehicle accident in Salisbury. Breedlove was struck by a 2006 Buick being driven by Katherine Lyerly, 85, of Salisbury. Findings will be given to the District Attorney to determine if charges will be filed.
