Shirley Riggins Comer, 70, was injured in a vehicle collision with a train near Oakdale Road and Main Street in Guilford County, North Carolina

Shirley Riggins Comer, 70, was driving a Jeep SUV across a railway grade crossing on Oakdale Road. A Norfolk Southern cargo train was traveling toward the grade crossing. Troopers said Comer tried to drive across the tracks, despite the warning, and got stuck in the crossing.
