A Greensboro woman died after she was struck by a vehicle on Friday night, according to a news release from Greensboro police.

Latoya Marie Watlington, of Greensboro, North Carolina, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck Friday night by a vehicle in Guilford County.

Upon officers' arrival, they found that 68-year-old Safdar Rasool had been driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado south on South Elm-Eugene Street near Meadowview Road when he struck a pedestrian, officials said.
