Teen Charged With DWI After Providence Grove High Student Dies in Single-Car Wreck
Highway Patrol says the driver, 17-year-old Evan Deforge, was going around a curve on Bumpass Road in Liberty when he ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and lost control of the 2005 Sierra Truck he was driving.
Teen behind the wheel in deadly Randolph County crash facing more charges
On Sunday, Deforge's charges were upgraded. The additional charges include felony death by motor vehicle, careless and reckless driving and possession of a malt beverage by a person less than 19.
