Authorities with the Thomasville Police Department said the crash happened just after noon at Fisher Ferry and Fairgrove roads.

Shortly after 12:00pm, Shackelford was trying to turn left off of Fisher Ferry Road when she was hit by a pickup truck driven by Austin Reddick, 24. The collision sent Shackelford to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, while Reddick sustained some injuries but was treated at the scene.
