Brandon Walker died, another person was injured after a vehicle fleeing police crashed into an apartment building at Cole Road and Utah Drive in Winston-Salem, North Carolina

The pursuit continued until troopers said the suspect exceeded a safe speed for the curve at Cole Road and Utah Drive, traveling off the road to the right and colliding with an apartment building. The driver of the fleeing vehicle, identified as Brandon Walker of Lexington, was pronounced dead at the scene.
