Douglas Duane Wall and Phillip Ray Williams killed in car crash on U.S. 601 near Yadkinville, North Carolina

According to a rough draft of the report from the North Carolina Highway Patrol, driver Douglas Duane Wall was traveling north on U.S. 601 when his vehicle went off the side of the road. After overcorrecting, Wall’s vehicle sideswiped a vehicle, driven by Kenneth Ray Williams, in the southbound land and hit a third vehicle, driven by Phillip Ray Williams, head on. Wall and Phillip Ray Williams died from injuries sustained in the crash.
