Asheville PD says, according to their investigation, a 2009 Toyota driven by Matthew Metcalf, 75, with his wife Charlotte Metcalf, 72, as passenger, attempted to turn left on Tunnel Road from a business parking lot. During the time Matthew was turning onto Tunnel Road, a 2021 Ford F350 was headed east on Tunnel Road and collided with the Metcalfs, according to Asheville PD.
