65-year-old pedestrian struck and killed by a USPS truck in a parking lot in Mars Hill, North Carolina

The man, accompanied by his wife, was getting his mail when the incident occurred. The postal truck was backing up into the alley behind the building and hit the victim, who was walking behind it. The victim’s wife had safely crossed the alley, which connects the parking area to the post office.
