The crash happened just before 5:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Basstwon Road. When first responders arrived, they found a passenger car and an SUV that had hit each other head-on.
One person dead, another hospitalized after crash Sunday in Sampson County
Authorities said the driver was on her way to work in Dunn when she collided with an SUV. A witness said the SUV was "wrapped around a tree."
