William Raymond Sinclair, 73, and Francisco Javier Ortiz Mundo, 29, died in a head-on crash with a box truck with a blown tire on Interstate 95 in Benson, North Carolina

Charles Robinson Nichols Jr., 23, of Four Oaks was operating a 2012 Freightliner box truck northbound when a witness said the front tire blew out. Nichols lost control of the truck, which veered into the median, through the cable guardrail, into the southbound lanes, striking head-on a 2002 Toyota pickup driven by William Raymond Sinclair, age 73, of Jamestown, NC.
