Jerry Evans Armstrong, 64, struck and killed by a hit-and-run vehicle near Holloway Street and Adams Street in Durham, North Carolina

Durham police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run Saturday night involving a pedestrian. Around 8 p.m., a man was crossing Holloway Street near Adams Street when he was struck by a vehicle.

Police said 64-year-old Jerry Evans Armstrong was crossing Holloway Street near Adam Street when he was hit by a vehicle just after 8 p.m. Officers said the vehicle, that is possibly a silver Chevrolet Cruz, drove away from the scene on Holloway Street.
