60-year-old man struck and injured by a hit-and-run vehicle while walking along the side of North Spence Avenue in Goldsboro, North Carolina

Around 11:15 p.m., officers with the Goldsboro Police Department responded to the 300 block of N. Spence Ave., where they found the man lying in a grassy area on the side of the road. The man was treated at the scene and transported to UNC Health Wayne for injuries to his legs.
