Armond Lewis Wilson, 65, and one other person killed, and Gabriel Quintino injured in two-vehicle crash on N.C. 53 in Burgaw, NC

BURGAW -- Two people were killed Sunday in a collision on N.C. 53 in Pender County. Wilson'€™s Cadillac came to rest in a ditch. Armond Lewis Wilson, 65, of Currie, died in the 4:06 p.m. collision near New Savannah Road in Burgaw. According to the State Highway Patrol, Wilson was westbound on N.C. 53 when his Cadillac sedan was struck by an eastbound Jeep that crossed the center line. The identity of the second victim was not released pending notification of next of kin.
