Pedestrian Dies of Injuries After Being Struck by Vehicle Posted: Updated: A 64-year-old Williston man has died from injuries suffered yesterday when he was struck by a pickup in downtown Williston. Investigators say Lyle Forsberg was hit by the pickup at the intersection of Main and 2nd street in Williston on Tuesday. Court documents say witnesses report seeing the driver, Bryan Wipf, make a left hand turn and accelerate rapidly before striking Forsberg. Forsberg was transported to Trinity Hospital in Minot, but he later died of his injuries. An affidavit from Williams County State's Attorney Nathan Madden indicates Wipf is being charged with Manslaughter, a Class-B Felony carrying a maximum penalty of ten years in prison.
