Ralph T. Argue, 72, seriously injured, airlifted to hospital, after his motorcycle left Bremen Road near Athens and crashed into a tree.

Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a crash that occurred in Hocking County Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Athens post of the Patrol the crash occurred on Bremen Road at 4 p.m.

Ralph T. Argue, 72, of Lancaster was operating a motorcycle in the southbound lanes of Bremen Road when he went off the right side of the road and struck a tree, according to police.

Argue was transported to Grant Medical Center by medical helicopter to be treated for his injuries.
