Investigators say one person is dead after a minivan and motorcycle collided in Warren County. The Warren County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened just after 11 p.m. Tuesday night at the intersection of Butler-Warren Road and Rosemont Lane near the Deerfield Township-West Chester Township line. Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said Jeffery Stewart, 51, of Mason, tried to pass the van at a high rate of speed, but hit the back of the van, lost control and hit a yard fence. Stewart was dead when patrol units arrived on the scene. The van's driver, who stopped after the crash, was not injured. Troopers said Stewart was wearing a helmet. Alcohol is considered a possible factor in the crash, troopers said. The crash remains under investigation.
