Jason Schaller, 35, dies, Jesse Crabtree, 30, and Angeson Abreha, 31, injured when semi strikes pickup on Interstate 275 in Whitewater Township, Ohio

1 dead after I-275 crash in Whitewater Township
The crash happened around 2 a.m. when a semi-truck driven by 31-year-old Angeson Abreha traveling on I-275 south failed to negotiate a turn and crossed the median into the northbound lanes. Abreha then struck the left side of a Ford F250 driven by 35-year-old Jason Schaller. Schaller's truck spun off the roadway as the semi overturned onto its right side.
Schaller was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, Jesse Crabtree, 30, was transported to UC Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
