Semi driver dies in rollover crash in Granger Township
The driver, Elvin Lasi, 24, died at the scene, the patrol said. The rollover happened about 6:15 p.m. on Interstate 271 southbound just north of I-71. Lasi failed to negotiate a curve and his 2000 Volvo semi veered off the right side of the highway. The truck hit a guardrail and turned over. Lasi was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the semi, the patrol said.
