The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating. It's unclear whether the driver has been charged.

"He is broken up about this, but he wants to work," Norton said. No charges have been filed against the man, who the mayor said was driving below the 25 mph speed limit during the collision.
Lesure was running from other children that were throwing pieces of asphalt at him and his sister at about 5:30 p.m., when he ran onto Hayden Avenue and was hit by an East Cleveland Service truck. He was eventually pronounced dead at the hospital. Investigation continues to determine whether the driver will be charged.
