Just before 1 p.m. Friday, police here investigated a fatal traffic accident on Mentor Avenue in the area of Wal-Mart.
One dead following Mentor car crash
The man, who has not been identified, was westbound on Mentor Avenue near the Walmart about 12:50 p.m. when his car swerved into the oncoming lane, Mentor police said.
Police ID driver killed in Mentor crash
Police have identified the driver killed in a Mentor Avenue crash Friday as Lloyd E. Fox, 44, of Concord Township.

A man was driving on Mentor Avenue when he swerved suddenly and struck another vehicle which was traveling the same direction. The man's vehicle then crossed the roadway and went into the parking lot of a local flower shop, hitting the building. He was rushed to a local medical center but was pronounced dead. The driver's identity has not yet been released.
