A 24-year-old man is in critical condition after being ejected from his car during a serious crash on Marks Road Friday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The Strongsville resident sustained serious injuries after his 1987 Ford Mustang collided head-on with a 2005 Ford F-150 about 8:20 a.m., according to the OHSP's Medina Post. An ambulance took the man to Southwest General Health Center. A Metro Life Flight helicopter then flew him to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, where he is listed in critical condition. An ambulance took the Ford F-150's driver, a 55-year-old Valley City resident, to Southwest General Health Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The crash occurred when the Strongsville man, who was driving northbound on Marks Road, lost control of his Mustang and entered the southbound lane. Authorities said alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Part of Marks Road just south of Center Road was closed following the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
